Dunno. When I quit the project some guy downloaded the public repo (which is fine) and ported it to Android. Then he added ads and made a KILLING. Probably made $100k+ in revenue. Good for him.
For the record, v0.8.03 should be listed as "recommended". It's the best version of the onsen map. The Open Viva Project version is a buggy mess with a bunch of stuff removed and it seems to be abandoned.
And v0.75.3 is the best version of the ranch map.
Dunno if v0.9.3 is supposed to be a bunch of empty dev sandbox-esque maps but that's all I can seem to access. Fun for just spawning things in and messing around, though.
I was checking in after a couple hectic years and it's sad to see the project discontinued but if you're working on something else, that's great, too. I'll keep an eye on your YouTube channel. 👍
Hey, I have been seeing these advertisements on ifunny of a mobile game called "life with Nin" and it uses footage of your game, and on the app store it looks like an almost identical copy of your game. Are you aware of this?

Yes. Open Viva did not live up to its name.
I don't know how you can fuck up a revival game so badly when the original game is open source. Damn shame.
